I have noticed two things with the transmission: 1. I hear a sound like a light clunk under my driver's seat when shifting from second into first. This only seems to happen when I have been in at least 3rd gear. Hard start issue. My Accord will intermittently not start up right away after sitting for an hour or so. Car info is in my signature. I’ll crank it over for 3-4 seconds and it won’t start, then release and try it again with a crank no start again. Then I’ll turn the key off and attempt it again and it’ll start up right away. The screen will still be visible and I can still switch between CD/AUX/FM/AM, but no sound. I have a 2008 LX-P Sedan, I-4cyl (93K) with violent shaking during acceleration over 60mph. The shuddering stops after I take my foot off the accelerator. I replaced all four rotors and four sets of brake pads, did a drain & refill of ATF x3, and just had all four tires rotated and rebalanced. If it is a hardware problem like defective units it will require replacement of defective units, labor etc. and Honda is too cheap for that. The fact that I have a 2016 Accord Touring ( purchased September of 2015) and you folks have the next generation of 2018 Accords with the same problem is the proof that Honda doesn't really care. I had the same problem. SRS Light came on and took it to Honda and at first they told me that it was the passenger weight sensor. So there I go and buy the part out of state at a different Honda stealership. I take it to Honda and get it replaced. So I was so happy light turned off. My wife was driving the car out of the lot. I've seen some problems with the "K" engines and the vtec actuator. I'm wondering if this is a normal sound or something I should be aware of. Thanks in Honda dealership says electrical diagnosis is like $125/hour. The car is out of inspection and of course won't pass with the light problem. Other posts mention looking at the headlight relay switches, but I think in my under hood fuse box they're either not replaceable or part of the wiring chassis ie can't be worked on. Put some sticky-tac on the end of a cuetip, (make sure you remove as much cotton as possible) and stick it in< and take it out, if that fails, put some glue on the end of the cuetip, (very little amount, dont want it to get inside the aux port), my friend did it, very precise, but risky. hyHHzMy.
